Mitzie Jane Robertson Papafote
Mitzie Robertson Papafote passed away peacefully on May 22, 2018 in Houston. She was born on April 1, 1944 in Sevierville, TN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Angelo, and long-time companion, Gregg Wilburn. She moved to Houston in 1962 where she met her husband and raised her family. Family was everything to her and she showed her love through her passion of cooking. She also loved going “home” to visit family in Tennessee and cherished the time she spent with the Mutter family.

Mitzie is survived by her children, Nick, Despo, and Dion and her husband, Joel; her grandchildren, Lexi, Trey, Carson, Zoe, and Evan; Gregg’s children, Lindsay (Zach) and Russell (Jacalyn); and grandchildren, Reagan, Zachary, Emily, Canyon, and Meadow.

Also surviving are her siblings Audrey, Dennis, and sister-in-law Joanne along with Gregg’s siblings, Carol, Margarett, Jan, and Buddy (Teresa) and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially by her children and her children’s friends who felt they were part of the family.

Services will be held on Friday, May 25 at St Basil the Great Greek Orthodox Church, 1100 Eldridge Parkway, with visitation starting at 9:30 am and funeral at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
